The 57-year-old Czech folk musician Hanka Horká died on Sunday after knowingly risking contracting the corona virus. That's what her son, Jan Rek, told the Czech radio station iRozhlas.cz. He and his father were both vaccinated, but were still infected with the corona virus. His mother was unvaccinated, Rek said. Nevertheless, she knowingly exposed herself to a possible infection. "She decided to just live normally with us and get infected instead of getting vaccinated," he said.

Rek is now making accusations against the local representatives of the vaccination movement.

They had "blood on their hands" because they had upset his mother against the corona vaccination.

“I know exactly who influenced her.

It saddens me that she believed strangers more than her own family," Rek said.

In the Czech Republic, proof of a corona vaccination or a recovered infection is a prerequisite for visiting cultural and sports facilities as well as bars and restaurants.

Shortly before her death, Horká, singer of the band Asonance, wrote on the Internet that she was looking forward to being able to go to the theater and sauna again soon after her "serious" illness.
