(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 18 - The race for electricity prices continues.
In the week from Monday 10 to Sunday 16 January, the GME recorded an average purchase price of electricity equal to 230.63 euros / MWh (+22.10 euros / MWh, + 10.6% compared to the previous week).
According to GME data, the volumes of electricity traded directly on the stock exchange also increased to 4.7 million MWh (+ 18.1%), and the liquidity, to 77.5% (+1 percentage point);
however, it should be considered that the week included a public holiday. The selling prices, rising everywhere, between 218.52 € / MWh in Calabria and Sicily and 234.89 € / MWh in the North and Center North.
