Bruce Springsteen is the most profitable musician of 2021 with revenue of $ 550 million.

This is according to an impressive publication published by Rolling Stone magazine in collaboration with former Forbes reporter Zack O'Malley, which includes the ten most profitable musicians.

"The Boss" takes first place after selling its full catalog of songs to Sony Music in December.

Next on the list is JZ ($ 470 million).

In third place: Paul Simon ($ 260 million).

In fourth place: Kenya West ($ 250 million).

Next on the list are One Republic frontman Ryan Teder ($ 200 million);

Red Hot Chili Peppers ($ 145 million);

Fleetwood Mac band member Lindsay Buckingham ($ 100 million);

And country singer Blake Shelton ($ 83 million).

The 32-year-old Taylor Swift is the only woman to make it to the top ten and she actually seals it, with $ 80 million in revenue.

Seven of the ten artists on the list sold the rights to their works for huge sums this year.

The three who did not do so are Jay Z, Kenya West and Taylor Swift, who experienced a successful economic year despite the corona, thanks to other sources of income.

For example, Kenya's shoe empire or Jay-Z's champagne brand.

Swift's revenue comes from the four albums she's released in a year and a half, and from collaborations with companies like Starbucks.
