(ANSA) - FARINDOLA, 18 JAN - "The anniversary is for all occasions to honor the memory of those who lost their lives that tragic night and at the same time constitutes the drive to responsibly strengthen the commitment of all for the protection of the territory and of public safety ".
The President of the Council of Ministers, Mario Draghi, writes in a letter sent to the Victims Committee of Rigopiano, on the fifth anniversary of the tragedy.
In the letter, the premier, thanking for the invitation to commemorate the 29 victims, announces with regret that "he cannot be present at the ceremony. Therefore - he concludes - my shared sentiment for the painful occurrence reaches you".
