Investigators have arrested another man after the alleged murder of a young woman in Ireland.
The man, aged between 30 and 40, is suspected of withholding information, Irish broadcaster RTÉ reported.
He is said to be known but not related to a 31-year-old who was arrested the previous day on suspicion of murder.
The suspect was interrogated again for hours on Wednesday.
23-year-old teacher Ashling Murphy was killed last Wednesday in the small town of Tullamore, around 80 kilometers west of Dublin, while she was jogging.
Country united "in solidarity and abhorrence".
The case caused outrage across the country and sparked a new debate about violence against women in the EU country.
A minute's silence was held in front of Dublin Parliament at 4:30 p.m. on Friday to commemorate the alleged time of the crime.
In Tullamore, shops and cafes closed earlier than usual. Many mourners gathered in a park.
Prime Minister Micheál Martin said the teacher's murder had united the country "in solidarity and disgust".
The investigators are currently mainly investigating how the alleged murderer escaped from the scene of the crime on a canal popular with joggers and bikers.
It is believed that the 31-year-old, who was being treated in a hospital for days because of several wounds, was injured in the attack on the teacher.
He is said to have left a mountain bike behind and was apparently picked up by a car.
