(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, 19 JAN - New move against the pandemic by the Biden administration, which from next week will begin to distribute 400 million N95 masks free to Americans, through thousands of pharmacies and community health centers.
The masks (up to three for adults) come from the national strategic reserve and are over half of those kept for emergencies.
The decision was made to offer higher protection against Omicron variant, which is more transmissible.
