Discounter Aldi sells Apple product - but under a different name

Aldi will soon be offering Apple products.
In the prospectus of the discounter, however, the products of the global corporation are not called Apple.
What's behind it?
Munich - Battery life up to 18 hours, swim and waterproof, including heart rate monitor, Bluetooth and virtual assistant / Apple Siri.
It says so in the product description.
Discounter Aldi is breaking new ground and will soon be selling Apple Smart Watches Series 3. However, under a different name.

Yes.
At first glance, however, the Apple Watch cannot be identified as such.
The Apple Watch can only be recognized as such when you read the product description more closely.
It runs under the name
Renewd Watch
Series 3. Renewd - behind it are completely renewed Apple Watches.
"This is my second life!
I contain minimal signs of wear,” it reads.
Apple at Aldi - Sustainable from the Netherlands
Aldi therefore declares the smartwatch as a product from the Renewd company.
The company is based in the Netherlands.
It specializes in the general overhaul of Apple goods such as iPhones or Apple Watches.
"To reduce the global WEEE and environmental footprint, we design sustainable choices at an affordable price."
Renewd has set itself the goal of becoming a leading global brand that gives high-quality and 100 percent original used equipment a second life.
"Confidence in the way we work and the quality of our products makes us the best green alternative."
Aldi product may show signs of wear
There is nothing wrong with buying remanufactured products.
The Smart Watch has been tested, prepared and has a two-year guarantee.
However, buyers should be aware that they are purchasing a used product that may show signs of use, albeit minimal.
And whether the performance that the original promises cannot be guaranteed 100 percent.
