(ANSA) - GIACARTA, 19 JAN - An Indonesian court today sentenced an Islamist militant linked to Al-Qaeda to 15 years in prison for his role in the 2002 attacks on the island of Bali that cost 202 people.
Zulkarnaen, a member of the militant group Jemaah Islamiyah, is "guilty of committing terrorist acts and is sentenced to 15 years in prison," said the president of the East Jakarta district court.
