(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 19 - The last Russian troops sent to Kazakhstan to help President Kassym-Jomert Tokayev regain control of the situation after days of violence have left the Central Asian country, according to reports from the Russian agency Tass.
The contingent, under the orders of General Andrei Serdyukov, was part of a joint force of the member countries of the Collective Security Treaty (CSTO), which includes several former Soviet republics together with Russia.
