As of today (Wednesday), the shortening of the isolation to five days for the verified and without vaccinated who were exposed to the verified will take effect.
The move was led by Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz despite warnings from some experts.
From now on, each verified person will be required to perform two home tests on the fourth and fifth day.
If both came out negative the verified will be able to come out of isolation assuming he has no symptoms.
As for no vaccines exposed to verified, these will be required to perform one test on Thursday, if it comes out negative they will be able to come out of isolation.

Following Health Minister Horowitz's decision to shorten the isolation to five days, it was alleged that it was accepted without extensive consultation with all the experts.
The Ministry of Health admitted that the decision still leaves a risk of 15% -20%, according to which those who leave isolation will still be contagious.
"There is a feeling that this is a decision made recklessly, and the fact that it was not made in coordination with the experts and the team for treating epidemics, where there are both epidemiologists and experts in infectious diseases," says Prof. Michal Hobers, a member of the Israeli Infectious Diseases Association.
"As for shortening to five days, it's like pouring oil on a fire. If people were careful about wearing masks it would be something else, but in the current situation it is a bit hasty to shorten insulation in these conditions.
