According to the police, unknown persons stole more than 200 car keys from new BMW cars in Bremerhaven.

After initial investigations, the perpetrators gained access to the parking area on Überseering via the railway tracks and a neighboring property during the night from Saturday to Sunday.
There are therefore thousands of new vehicles.
The motive for the crime is still unclear.
The Bremerhaven police are investigating serious theft and are warning against buying the stolen car keys.
Potential buyers would also be liable to prosecution and could be prosecuted for receiving stolen goods, it said.
With around two million vehicles handled every year, Bremerhaven is one of the world's largest hubs for automobile exports.
