"Pilgrims have visited Jerusalem for hundreds of years," the site's editors wrote.
"You do not have to be as imbued with faith as you are to appreciate the deep cultural and historical significance of this city. Visit its main sites, but take time to wander the streets, to immerse yourself in the daily life of such a revered and ancient place."
