About two weeks after the death of Yoram Taharlev, one of Israel's top songwriters, leaving behind an extensive work of dozens of Iron Sheep assets, he is now receiving a tribute on the small screen as well.
A week ago it was the Habima Theater that held a salute event to Taharlev with the participation of artists who worked with it, and now comes the quintet "This is it", in tribute to one of the singer's favorite songs: "Walking after the sun".

The song was originally written as a melody composed by Sasha Argov for the film "He Went to the Fields" which was released in 1967, when Taharlev later added words describing an elderly couple traveling through the kibbutz where he grew up and walking in his youth.
The most famous rendition of the song was by the suburban duo who recorded it in 1978 for the album "Dreamers After the Sun", but it won quite a few performances before and after.
The last of which also brought him back to consciousness was in 2020 when he was recorded by David Lavie and Tamar Philosoph.
The new performance of Shlomo Bar Abba, Gidi Gov, Debla Glickman, Moni Moshonov and Avi Kushnir can be seen tonight (Thursday) on the program at 9:10 PM 11 here.
