(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 20 - In tomorrow's decree "there will be a significant intervention" on energy costs to support especially companies "that are encountering major difficulties". There is also "a specific intervention for two-room apartments that have a significant bill to support services of general interest". The undersecretary to Mef Maria Cecilia Guerra said so. The intervention, he explains, "is aimed at reducing system charges, which are the fixed costs in the bill, partly through tax exemptions, and it will be a fairly substantial intervention", in the order of 4 billion.
As for the taxation of extra-profits, Guerra clarified that it is "a study still in progress, I do not believe - he said - that it will enter into this decree".
For anti-Covids aid, it will instead use "tools already used" and could be "rental credit or the reduction of the IMU, support through the refinancing of existing funds and an intervention to facilitate, where necessary, the use of layoffs" .
