The Ministry of Health announced today (Thursday) that it will begin vaccinating 11-5 year olds in risk groups in a booster dose.
The dose will be given to those children who received the second dose of the vaccine at least three months ago.
Also, those who have recovered from the corona will also be able to get the booster.
Those aged 11-5 who receive the third dose are those who suffer from significant morbidity in the following situations: severe obesity with a BMI above 99% for age and sex, neurodevelopmental disorder including seizures and congenital syndromes, severe chronic lung disease, severe immune suppression, active malignant conditions, Heart failure or pulmonary hypertension and sickle cell anemia.
