You do not have to travel to the Golan: snow fell on Mount Meron and throughout the Upper Galilee

The Golan is white, but not only that: snow covered the Mount Meron Reserve, Beit Jann, Ramat Dalton and other places in the Upper Galilee.

It also snowed nicely in Samaria and Benjamin, so you don't have to drive all the way to the Golan.

Here are the beautiful photos we received this morning from around the country

The snow that fell last night (Wednesday), and even reached Jerusalem, also fell in other surprising places such as the Druze settlement of Beit Jan in the Upper Galilee, the Mount Meron Reserve, the settlement of Kida in Benjamin and Mount Baal Hatzor - the highest mountain in Samaria (1,016 m).

Inspectors from the Nature and Parks Authority woke up this morning to spectacular views of an orange sunrise combined with snow-white, and sent us impressive records of snow that covered several settlements and green nature.

According to Mount Meron Reserve Supervisor Guy Zoharoni, most of Mount Meron is covered with 70 percent snow.

"I think it's about 10 inches of snow," he told Walla!

Tourism.

In the Golan Heights, too, the snow continues to envelop the northern plateau settlements and the Har Odem Reserve and others, and tomorrow a sunny weekend is expected to be great for hiking. The snow in the Golan is also expected to stay until Saturday. Also tomorrow.Meanwhile, let's enjoy the beautiful sights recorded this morning.
