This Friday, the show, titled "Weekends With Adele," was scheduled to premiere on the stage of the famed Caesars Palace Hotel in Las Vegas.
But nothing will come of it: the British singer has postponed her concert series at short notice.
She's so sorry, but her show just isn't finished, the musician says, visibly resolved, in a video message to her fans published on Twitter.
She and her team tried everything, but the coronavirus pandemic ruined everything.
Half of their employees are ill, and deliveries are delayed.
'I'm devastated and I'm so sorry it's happening at the very last minute,' Adele said.
The performances would be made up for at a later date, she promised the fans.
In November, the 33-year-old announced the concert series in the casino city lasting several months.
Two dozen performances were planned by mid-April.
The concert hall offers space for more than 4000 guests.
Adele released her fourth studio album »30« last November.
In total, the singer ("Hello") sold well over a hundred million records.
