(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, JAN 21 - "Our constant coordination over the past two years has been one of the foundations of the success of our response to the pandemic. Fragmentation and discrepant messages between us increase uncertainty, weaken confidence in vaccination and reduce the sense of acceptance of public health measures and the recommendations we make to citizens ". This was stated by EU commissioner Stella Kyriakides speaking at the extraordinary meeting of EU health ministers convened by the French presidency also to take stock of the coordination between EU countries in anti-Covid measures. "Important discussion with EU health ministers for a common response to Covid. Science is clear on the next steps for citizens to take:increase the spread of vaccination and provide an additional booster, especially for the most vulnerable ", wrote Kyriakides in a tweet at the beginning of the meeting (ANSA).
