The identity of two dead is still unclear after a fire in a house in Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia.
However, there are some indications that there are two missing persons known by name – a woman and a man – said a police spokesman.
Several injured
The cause of the fire is also still open, it said.
First, a structural engineer had to be called in, since the building was probably in danger of collapsing.
According to the police, the house belongs to an aid organization for the reintegration of former homeless people.
In the fire on Thursday, firefighters first discovered a body, then in the evening a second dead person.
Two people were seriously injured and six others were slightly injured in the fire.
According to the investigators, the extinguishing work lasted several hours, according to the fire brigade, the burning house was not accessible in the meantime.
