(ANSA) - GENEVA, 21 JAN - Russia expects written responses from the American side to its requests "next week". This was stated by Foreign Minister Serghei Lavrov at the end of talks with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Geneva on Ukraine. Lavrov added that Moscow "never" threatened "the Ukrainian people".
Lavrov said the US has agreed to deliver written responses to Moscow's "security guarantees" next week, Interfax news agency reports. "Antony Blinken told me that he is satisfied with the exchange of views that has taken place, that he will be helping them next week to present their written response, as has already been pointed out many times",Lavrov said after the talks in Geneva.
