Quirinale: decree arrives for the vote of the positives, ok unanimous Cdm

A decree law arrives to allow large voters in isolation or quarantine for Covid to participate in the voting for the Quirinale.

The decree would serve to authorize positives to leave their home to vote on an exceptional basis and was approved unanimously.

A request to the government to intervene to allow large voters "in isolation or Covid quarantine" to vote on the Quirinale was made by the President of the Chamber Roberto Fico in a letter to Minister Federico D'Incà, which Ansa has seen. In the meeting of the group leaders, explains Fico, "it was reiterated that only a regulatory intervention by the government, in the light of the current regulatory framework, could authorize, by dictating the necessary health requirements", the electors "to leave their homes". The group leaders of the Chamber meanwhile yesterday approved the technical ploy to allow deputies, senators and major voters who were in quarantine from Monday to write the name of the new President of the Republic on a ballot, ensuring the secrecy, contextuality and security of the vote as in the Chamber, and in accordance with the constitutional provisions safeguarding the freedom of the parliamentarian, linked specifically to the immunity of the headquarters.
