(ANSA) - RIO DE JANEIRO, JANUARY 22 - The Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo Carnival parades in Brazil, scheduled for February, have been postponed to April due to the Covid pandemic.


   "The municipalities of Rio and São Paulo have decided to postpone the samba school shows" due to "the current situation of the pandemic in Brazil and the need to preserve lives", reads a statement.
