A lateral thinker got in the way: In Munich, a 73-year-old obstructed traffic on a street with a minibus.
Witnesses had alerted the police to an emergency call to a minibus that was blocking the entire side of a lane in the city center late Friday evening.
The man told the emergency services that he was planning a motorcade against the corona measures.
However, there was no registration for a meeting, as the police announced on Sunday.
"There were no other participants in the meeting either," the officials added.
The man then became so physically aggressive that he even had to be handcuffed.
He had described himself to approaching officials as a member of the so-called lateral thinkers.
According to the police, the incident happened late Friday evening in the center of Munich.
As they attempted to establish the man's identity, he became increasingly verbally and physically intrusive.
In the end he was taken to a police station.
He received a report on suspicion of coercion in road traffic.
His car was parked on the side of the road by a towing company.
