The EU is preparing a new pandemic management model for travel by eliminating the approach of the "geographical area of origin of travelers", that is, overcoming the system of contagion maps which will remain "only at an information level".
This is foreseen by the text of the recommendation agreed by the EU ambassadors and anticipated by El Pais in view of the general affairs council on Tuesday.
The restrictions will no longer be linked to the arrival area but to the situation of the traveler: vaccination, recovery or tests (always 72 hours for molecular, 24 and no longer 48 for antigenic).
The validity of the 9-month Green Pass has been confirmed.
