In a video posted on Twitter, we see the elected official in front of his permanence in Perpignan being shouted at by anti-vaccination pass.
The deputy claims to have then received “a punch in the chin”.
"I was working with Guillem Gervilla, parliamentary adviser to Éric Dupond-Moretti, when all of a sudden we heard a horde of people heading towards the office and then banging on the windows," said Romain Grau.
“We went out to talk to them and there we were attacked very violently.
They clearly wanted to crack us up with some pretty heavy insults,” he added.
The MP has indicated his willingness to file a complaint.

This attack comes two weeks after that of another LREM deputy in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.
Stéphane Claireaux had received projectiles launched by opponents of the vaccine pass.
Three people have been charged.
