22% Rating: Yigal Shilon and Keshet knew exactly what they wanted and how to get it Israel today

Yigal Shilon may be paralyzed, but he is still the same TV man who knows a thing or two about the industry and how to attract viewers to the screen.


When talking about the docu-movie "What Happened to Legal Shilon" that aired last night (Sunday) one should ignore the bombastic and secret promo, which increased the mystery and prepared us for exposing his health condition.

However, they are inseparable because the promo is a significant part of the package, and the package is the same cynical character with a cigar that dominated ratings in the 90s, and still knows a thing or two about the TV industry and how to attract viewers to the screen.

So after the promo department of Keshet Pampama for days a mystery around Shilon, and created an expectation of a tragic bomb exploding, it can be said that it was reassuring to discover that Shilon was paralyzed as a result of falling and confined to a wheelchair, but remained clear and calculated, and in fact - this is exactly Yigal Shilon we knew.

"You are actually directing me," Erez Tal analyzed the film's protagonist in the first scene, immediately after entering a work meeting at Shilon's home and discovering that the filming was in progress.

Tal may have been chosen to lead the story, but Shilon's hand in everything - he controls the questions, directs the scenes, sets the shooting angles and decides when to cry.

Shilon told Tal that in the early production process he refused other people who were offered to him, wishing the film would not degenerate into yellow, sleazy and overly emotional districts.

After all, Haim Etgar is an ideal casting for a tear-jerking and mysterious melodrama, certainly after he has already cracked mysteries in the past, such as where Anna Zack has gone and what the secret that Tahonia is hiding.
