(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 24 - A fable inspired by a true story set on a remote island in Canada.
The Wolf and the Lion by Gilles De Maistre, former director of "Mia and the White Lion", leapt to the top of the Cinetel chart this week, grossing € 591,000 in 4 days and averaging € 1,237 on 478 screens.
Balancing in second place with a drop of 18% but still with the highest average (1435 out of 291 screens) is Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The Warner Bros film grossed € 417,000 for a total of € 23,181,000 in six weeks.
Scivola third A winning family - King Richard, the biopics about the history of tennis champions, the sisters Venus and Serena Williams, directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green and with Will Smith as Richard Williams: the takings are 312 thousand euros for a total of 814 thousand in two weeks.
Also a biopic, on the life of Celine Dion, is the other newcomer who entered the top ten in eighth position: Aline die with Valerie Lemercier and Sylvain Marcel grossed 139 thousand euros.
Total collections, just over 3 million, still show a decline of 26% over last week and 71.40% over the same period of 2019. (ANSA).
