(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 24 - Hundreds of Ffp2 masks were donated today by the Neapolitan unemployed to inmates in the Poggioreale prison to cope with the increase in cases of contagion from Covid denounced by the guarantors of the rights of the detainees. '' Many prisoners - explained representatives of the Movement unemployed on 7 November - told their families that in Poggioreale there is a problem of shortage of these personal protective equipment. The delivery of the mask - they added - remains a symbolic gesture, insufficient to solve the problems that afflict the prisoners, but a small gesture, however, can serve to turn the spotlight on the daily difficulties of those who live in a recluse, including overcrowding, lack of health facilities, and food. We continue to support the struggles of inmates,we are close to their suffering and fight their social marginality and ours, convinced that the only answer is work, houses and social rights for all.
