Oil: slightly up, Wti at 85.61 dollars a barrel

(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 24 - A slight rise in the week for oil prices in light of a cautious optimism on a possible slowdown of the Omicron variant.

   The situation between Russia and Ukraine also affects this trend.

   WTI crude oil gained 0.55% at 85.61 dollars a barrel while Brent from the North Sea returned to 88.41 dollars (+ 0.50%).
