Discounter does not comment - user threatens to switch to Aldi

Another user is even so upset about the technical problems that he threatens to leave the direct discounter competition.

“What is actually going on with the Lidl Plus app?

It no longer works on any device, the coupons expire and there is no information from Lidl about what's going on!!!!

In fact, as of Monday morning, there was no official statement from the company on the issue.

Although there were first positive comments to read on Monday.

However, the statements “My app is working again” and “It works again” were opposed by several comments from users who are still unable to use their Lidl Plus app.

It's not the first time the app has caused trouble among users.

After an update last year, Lidl Plus no longer worked on older smartphones* - anyone who owned such a device either had to do without the app or buy a current smartphone.
