Aldi – A customer of the discount giant escalates under a harmless Facebook post.

She goes to Aldi Süd because of the motif in the picture in the post.

But the allegation is more than questionable.

Memes have been a real hit on the internet for a number of years.

The mostly humorous pictures make users laugh, are shared and are a welcome change on Instagram, Facebook and Co. So it's no wonder that companies like Aldi Süd also use them and describe their condition with memes.

Last week, Aldi Süd posted a picture on Facebook of a dog in a pink bathrobe, sunglasses and a remote control on a lounger eating popcorn.

The picture also says: "Me, as soon as two people fight in the clerks." The post also says that Aldi* popcorn is just the right soothing snack on days when you think you've landed in the wrong movie .

It's just a meme.

But: A user did not understand the humor – and made a belly flop in a faux pas.

Aldi: Customer nags on Facebook – and puts his foot in it

But what happened?

Why did the user end up in a faux pas?

User Nicole E. writes in the comments: "Once again impossible... to use animals for such nonsense...!!!" She looks angry and annoyed by the meme that Aldi Süd posted.

However, the question arises as to why, after all the discounter has done nothing bad.

It almost seems as if she was desperately looking for something to nag about.

Other Facebook users probably see it that way too.

This Aldi post upset a Facebook user very much.

Wolfgang R. comments: "Nonsense!" Kevin N. finds more drastic words and also receives some likes: "Nicole, you have your helmet too tight..." Aldi Süd also comments again and Community Manager Jakob probably speaks to some Internet users of the soul: "Dear Nicole, the picture is a photomontage." Splash, at the latest now the nagging user should also be aware of it, but Aldi Süd adds: "Of course no animal was harmed."

Aldi: customer shoots shortly after, discounter for animal welfare

Facebook user Nicole then writes a little more meekly: "Yes - sure...but I don't think the idea is appropriate..." However, she hardly got any approval for it.

A like, several laughing, amazed and even angry smileys reflect what the community thinks about it.

The comment is particularly exciting because Aldi Süd has repeatedly been in the headlines in recent weeks because they pay attention to animal welfare and consumer protection in their range.

So there was only recently an explanation from Aldi on Facebook how they deal with suppliers and Co. *, as HEIDELBERG24 * reported.

The fact that milk should only come from husbandry forms three and four* in the future also speaks for the discount giant.

And: Certain eggs also fly* off the shelf.

The price of meat could probably rise a little, but Aldi has also paid attention to consumer and environmental protection with the 5D rule *.

But it's the same as always: you can't please everyone...
