Amazon signs Chris Evans and Dwayne Johnson for film production

Dwayne Johnson is embarking on a bigger Christmas film project for Amazon Studios - he will also be in front of the camera Chris Evans.

Amazon has brought well-known stars on board for a planned action comedy.

So far, the film is called "Red One".

Directed by Jake Kasdan, the action comedy stars Chris Evans and Dwayne Johnson*.

As the US magazine Deadline reports, production for the film is scheduled to start later this year.

Because "Red One", as the comedy is currently called, is a global action-adventure comedy.
