Iridescent tweeds

The look.

“These geometric shapes made me want contrasts, a great lightness and a lot of freshness: ethereal dresses that float as if in suspension, explains Virginie Viard, artistic director of Chanel.

Lots of ruffles, fringes, macramé, bright lace, iridescent tweeds, colorful jeweler's buttons.

On the series of the first suits, the famous tweeds of the house take the place of red thread, they are softened, reworked with blows of opening on the pants, revealing touches of delicate, light and meticulous lace.

They lie on the jackets, show both casual and formal.

The outfits are not spectacular, on the contrary they reveal a collection of exquisite simplicity which implies, when you look closer, a work on the material.
