(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, JAN 25 - "Member states should apply measures regarding travel to and from the dark red areas, where the virus is circulating at very high levels; in particular they should discourage all non-essential travel and require people arriving from these areas, and who do not have a vaccination or recovery certificate, to undergo pre-departure and quarantine testing after arrival. Some exceptions to these measures should apply to travelers with an essential role or need, to cross-border commuters and to children under 12 ".
This is stated in a note from the EU Council.
