The Detroit-based giant announces an investment of nearly $ 7 billion to increase production of electric vehicles and to build an electric battery plant.
For GM this is the largest single investment in its history.
General Motors' announcement is the latest sign in temporal order that "my economic strategy is helping" the relaunch of the manufacturing, comments US President Joe Biden.
