Horizon Forbidden West is coming soon to PS5 and PS4.
PlayStation players must be prepared to free up space on their consoles.
2022 will be an eventful year for games and there will be several highlights to start with.
In addition to "Elden Ring"*, "Pokémon Legends: Arceus", "Horizon Forbidden West" in particular is one of the most exciting titles to be released soon.
The sequel to the critically acclaimed Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to PS5 and PS4.
The first trailers for the game promise many improvements, including better graphics and an extensive game world.
But that has its price.
"Forbidden West" will take up a lot of storage space on the consoles.
Horizon Forbidden West takes up almost 100 gigabytes on PS5
The storage space of Horizon Forbidden West on the PS5 will be
around 96 gigabytes
, according to the Twitter account PlayStation Game Size .
Interestingly, the game will be larger in the EU version than the US version, where it only occupies 85 gigabytes on the PS5.
Either way, unless they have an additional SSD installed, PlayStation players will likely need to perform a few uninstalls to install Forbidden West.
An indication of the file size for the PS4 is still pending.
