“Open the editing room immediately so I can be in charge of my own image. Thank you in advance”, storms the American rapper in an Instagram post about the three-part film dedicated to him by the streaming platform from February 16.

Kanye West doesn't seem to have a clear conscience.

On February 16, Netflix will broadcast

Jeen-Yuhs

, a documentary dedicated to the rapper.

Directed by Clarence "Coodie" Simmons, filmmaker and friend of the rapper, the project is the result of 320 hours of archives and looks back on twenty years of career.

In 1998, the two met at a party in Chicago.

Three years later, Simmons decides to follow Kanye West, producer for the title

Izzo (HOVA)

by Jay-Z.

The main interested party was in Paris to attend the first parades of Fashion Week. Not sure that this broadcast delighted Kanye West, who is now called Ye. The latter asked a few days earlier for a right to look at

Jeen-Yuhs

, before it was put online next month.

“I'll say it nicely for the last time: I need to get the final cut and right to approve this documentary before it comes out on Netflix. Immediately open the editing room so I can be in charge of my own image. Thanks in advance"

, scolded the artist in an Instagram post.
