Disney Plus: In Europe, the streaming service is currently available in 18 countries

The Disney Plus offer is being expanded: according to media information, the streaming service will be available in 42 additional countries from summer 2022.
These include Poland, the Czech Republic and Croatia, but also several countries in the Middle East and Africa, such as Israel, Egypt, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates.
Disney Plus launched in the US, Canada and the Netherlands in 2019.
It offers movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic.
So far, Disney Plus has mainly been distributed in Europe, North and South America.
In Europe, the streaming service is currently available in 18 countries: Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Norway, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and the United Kingdom .
Most recently, Disney Plus had 118 million subscribers worldwide.
The service is still well behind Netflix with around 214 million subscribers.
During the corona restrictions, the production of new series and films at Disney Plus stalled.
Since then, the streaming service provider has recorded only slight growth in viewers.
