(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 26 - The Russian Interior Ministry has ordered the arrest of Oleg Navalny, brother of the opponent Alexei Navalny, at the request of the federal penitentiary service.
This was reported by several Russian media.
Oleg Navalny was sentenced to one year in prison for organizing a demonstration against the arrest of his brother a year ago, in violation of anti-Covid regulations.
The sentence had been suspended but now the Penitentiary Service has asked to make it enforceable, stating that Oleg has violated the rules of surveillance.
It is not known where Oleg is at the moment, whether in Russia or abroad.
