Yacht Flying Fox (Imperial)

Among the more luxurious ways to move from place to place around the world are on the one hand the private jets, and on the other hand - the luxurious yachts.

Recently, however, a spectacular combination was born between the two, in the form of what might be called a "sky yacht."

This is as a result of a unique collaboration between a German businessman and the Italian designer Pierpaolo Lazarini.

According to the Architecturaldigest website, the Sky Yacht will be equipped with eight electric motors, powered by ultra-light batteries, as well as by solar panels.

The yacht, which is about 152 meters long, will move at sea and in the air at a speed of about 110 kilometers per hour, and it will be able to operate continuously for more than two days.

And all this, with zero polluting emissions.

But the issue of emissions is only part of its eco-friendliness: apart from its full electric mobility, it has been reported that the yacht will be built entirely of carbon fiber, which is characterized by great strength and light weight.

An ideal way to travel the world

The design of the yacht is characterized by a futuristic block, in which you will find a spacious living and dining area located inside the main building, reminiscent in appearance of a torpedo. From the center of the aircraft, eight bridges (four on each side) are pulled out, and meet in huge tanks filled with about 400,000 liters of helium gas, which allows it to float in the air. Next to all of these, there are ten guest suites, all of which boast 360-degree panoramic views.

The huge helium cells are used for another function: buoyancy on the surface of the water, when there is a need or desire to sail in the sea. These two options, of sailing alongside a pilot, provide an ideal way to travel, depending on the destination or mood.

Of course, it is still too early to eulogize the "conventional" vessels and aircraft.

But for the businessman who ordered the sky yacht, which costs $ 627,511,500, it is a means of transportation that hints at the future to come.

In fact, the Italian design company promises that a prototype of the innovative means of transportation will be launched this year, when by the end of the current decade, we will be able to see it in the water.

Or in heaven.
