The Ministry of Health has just unveiled, this Wednesday, the brand new parental authorization certificate to be completed to have your child, aged 5 to 11, vaccinated against Covid-19.
If a new document is available, there has been a line change on the subject.
This Tuesday, Olivier Véran announced that the authorization of a single parent was again sufficient to have children aged 5 to 11 vaccinated.
Two changes in three weeks
This was already the case when vaccination opened for this age group, at the end of December.
But, on January 6, following a decision by the Council of State, the authorization of both parents had become compulsory.
A new form had therefore been put in place to allow the parent not present to give his authorization in addition to that of the parent accompanying the child.
The new parental authorization to have your child aged 5 to 11 vaccinated, again with the consent of only one parent required, is available online.

At the time, many had been those to regret this decision, while the campaign is struggling to take off for this age group.
"It's a bit unfortunate, it's an obstacle that dramatizes this notion of vaccination a little", had for example argued Alain Fisher, the president of the Council for the orientation of the vaccine strategy.
