The revelations of a man evoking malfunctions in private nursing homes of the Orpea group are "absolutely revolting" and call for sanctions of "the greatest severity (...) if the facts are proven", estimated Wednesday the spokesman of the government Gabriel Attal.
"It is out of the question that such actions can be tolerated in our country", he added at the end of the Council of Ministers, specifying that the Minister Delegate for the Autonomy of the Elderly Brigitte Bourguignon will meet " as soon as possible" the CEO of Orpea, Jean-Christophe Romersi.
The government spokesperson reacted to the publication of the investigation "Les Fossoyeurs"
by investigative journalist Victor Castanet, who brings to light the abuses of the care of the elderly to ensure the profitability of the establishments of the Orpea group.
