After being required by him to hide his music from her service, Spotify removed Neil Young's albums yesterday (Wednesday).
A statement from the popular streaming network said: "We want all the music and content in the world to be available and accessible to Spotify users. "Since the onset of the epidemic. We are appalled by Neil's decision to remove his music from Spotify, but hope to welcome him back. Young's discography will be removed from Spotify tonight."

As mentioned, Young attacked the music giant this week and demanded that she remove his music, in light of what he sees as disseminating false information about the corona virus in John Rogan's successful podcast, "the Joe Rogan Experience".
In an open letter to his executives and members of his record company, the singer wrote: "They can hold Rogan or Young. Not both. With about 11 million listeners to the episode, 'Joe Rogan Experience,' which can be listened to exclusively on Spotify, is the biggest podcast in the world and has a huge impact.
"Spotify has the responsibility to dilute the degree of false information dissemination on its platform, but at present the company has no policy regarding the dissemination of misinformation."
The mask of Rogen, a stand-up comedian and UFC commentator, is considered one of the most popular in the world and is balanced by tens of millions. In May 2020, the company acquired the rights to the exclusive rights to the podcast, in the amount of approximately $ 100 million. "I do this because Spotify is disseminating false information about the vaccines - thereby causing potential death to those who choose to believe the misinformation they are disseminating," Young wrote in the letter. "Please act accordingly today and update me on the schedules."
Rogan is criticized and accused of promoting and disseminating conspiracy theories, including the false claim that hospitals around the world are under the directive of cataloging any death as a result of virus infection.
Last month, 270 doctors, scientists and health experts signed a public letter demanding that Spotify institute a policy of dealing with false information, due to what they called "Rogen's alarming history" regarding his views on the corona plague.
It should be noted that last year, before the episode aired, Rogen made it clear that he did not oppose vaccines.
"I believe they are safe and urge many to get vaccinated," he said, but refused to back down on the grounds that young people do not need to be vaccinated either.

In another open letter, Young wrote: "Spotify has recently become a harmful force, due to its public deception and the lies (that it allows to spread) about the Corona. I realized I could not continue to support the deception of music lovers. "Spotify, they reminded me that legally I have no control over my music in order to do that. I announced that I was leaving anyway, because I knew that was what I would do. I was willing to do anything just to make it happen."
At the end of his second letter he wrote: "I sincerely hope that other artists and other record companies will leave Spotify's platform and stop supporting their deadly public deception about the virus."
