This Thursday, January 27, the funeral of Gaspard Ulliel took place at the Saint-Eustache church, in the 1st district of Paris. And all French cinema responded, starting with his best friend Jérémie Renier, many actors like Alex Lutz, Catherine Deneuve, Mélanie Thierry, Raphaël Personnaz, Anna Mouglalis, Louis Garrel, Niels Schneider, Vincent Cassel, Pierre Niney, Isabelle Huppert and Nathalie Baye attended the ceremony. Alongside them: Thierry Frémaux, Bertrand Bonello, Alice Taglioni, Marion Cotillard, Jean Dujardin and Léa Seydoux.
The crowd thus pressed at the foot of the building, in front of which a black and white photo of the actor, who put a cigarette in his mouth, had been installed.
A thousand people were gathered in the building, and 200 on the forecourt.
Here and there, everyone wiped away a tear, hugged their loved ones, laid a bouquet of white flowers.
The actor's coffin entered the church around 12:10 p.m., to loud applause.
A more private ceremony had taken place in the morning.
