Industry: November turnover + 22.2% driven by energy

In November, industry turnover, net of seasonal factors, is estimated to increase by 2.4% compared to October, with a positive trend both on the domestic market (+ 2.2%) and on the foreign market (+2, 7%). (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 27 - In November, industry turnover, net of seasonal factors, is estimated to increase by 2.4% compared to October, with a positive trend on the domestic market (+ 2.2%) on the foreign market (+ 2.7%). Istat pointed out that on a trend basis, corrected for calendar effects, total turnover grew by 22.2% (there were 21 working days as in November 2020).


   The increase in turnover is driven by energy which rises by 4% on October and 81% on November 2020. The general trend index net of energy marks a + 19.8%.


    In the first 11 months of 2021, industry turnover grew by 23.4% compared to the first 11 months of 2020. Growth is driven by energy (+ 35.4%) but the general trend net of energy marks a + 22.6%, (ANSA).
