(ANSA) - NEW YORK, JANUARY 27 - The American economy grew by 6.9% in the fourth quarter, above the expectations of analysts betting on + 5.5%.

For 2021, the increase is 5.7%, the highest since Ronald Reagan's presidency.

It was in fact since 1984, when the GDP recorded a + 7.2%, which did not register such rapid growth (ANSA).
