Eight days after his death in a skiing accident, Gaspard Ulliel's funeral allowed his relatives and many admirers to pay a final tribute to the actor, in a very moving atmosphere.
Not far from many personalities of the seventh art like Catherine Deneuve, Alice Taglioni, Jérémie Rénier or Damien Bonnard, a crowd of very touched anonymous people.
“His disappearance was so brutal. You would think he had so many things to do, ”says Lola, one of the many fans of the actor to have made the trip to the Saint-Eustache church, in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. A few meters away, Axel is also particularly moved. The film student looks like the actor who died suddenly at the age of 37. “It is a huge loss. He still had so much to give and to offer. For ten years he was a real model, an example. He was one of the actors I identified with the most. He moved to realize that he would never see his idol again: “We knew he was dead, but I couldn't accept that idea. And that's why I came this morning.

As the coffin enters the church, an admirer of the comedian sobs.
“How awful”, slips another.
A round of applause completes the coffin inside.
"I liked him a lot, I appreciated him from his first films", smiles Pierre, very moved.
In his hands a small white booklet surrounded by the black and white face of Gaspard Ulliel, three-day beard and a cigarette in the corner of his mouth.
"It's a small magazine that the funeral service gave us to accompany the ceremony from the outside, as we could not enter".
All these cinema fans praise the exceptional qualities of Gaspard Ulliel.
"He was an actor with great depth in the game and who had a lot of strength, yet with a lot of grace and simplicity, a lot of modesty," says Lola.
“He is a major international player who has touched many generations, who has also had an impact in the fashion world.
His premature death is quite disturbing, ”agrees Inès next door.
"He was touching, exceptional", punctuates Pierre, with tears in his eyes.
