Health hazard, especially for children - manufacturer recalls popular cheese product

A creamy, mild Camembert is one of those cheeses that taste big and small.
However, one variety is currently suspected of being contaminated with harmful bacteria.
Germany - It should be soft and leak a little bit when cut and lose its shape - a Camembert.
The mostly mild cheese tastes good to children and adults alike.
But for a certain variety, according to the manufacturer, there is a recall from the Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety.
The French company STE MERE is recalling the following product:

On the market : since 17/12/2021
Contamination with dangerous bacteria possible
According to the manufacturer, the product is suspected of being contaminated with the bacteria Escherichia coli.
Such bacteria can lead to febrile gastrointestinal disorders, possibly even bleeding, within two to seven days of consuming the affected product.
Children are also at risk of severe kidney complications.
Do not consume and return to local grocery store
The agency is urging consumers who have purchased this product not to eat the cheese and to return it to the store.
People who have eaten Camembert and suffer from any of the symptoms described should consult their doctor and advise them to consume the product.
