How do you become an actress?
Mary Drucker.

Stéphane Brizé, who had been introduced to me by Vincent Lindon, asked me to read a first version of his screenplay to give him comments.
A few months later, he asked me to take a test to play the director who forces the executive, played by Vincent, to set up a social plan in his company… As I had never had any desire for an actress , I had nothing to lose.

Have you been coached?
Not at all.
I approached the filming like the audition: recklessly, even unconsciously, and placing my trust in Stéphane.
But the experience was dizzying.
It's not only the most intimate work I've ever done, but I also had to let go of the image, get rid of the automatic reflexes acquired on television.
How did the screenplay appeal to you?
It raises the universal question of the meaning that we put in what we do, of the injunctions to which we must respond in our journeys.
This resonated with me: when I changed paths six years ago, I was no longer comfortable with the information as it is thought out and offered today.

Did you have a desire for cinema?
I kept
Infrarouge
and
Au bout de l'Enquête
on France TV, but I precisely changed my trajectory to devote myself to fiction.
No project has yet come to fruition, but Stéphane got me started with this role and offered to co-write his next film with him.
I don't forbid myself anything, but the next step I dream of is writing my film and directing it.
Another World
, by Stéphane Brizé.
