Snow in Jerusalem is not such a rare sight, and it was also documented decades ago in black-and-white photographs.

In honor of the snow that fell on him this week in the capital, and on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the Jewish National Fund, we searched the JNF's photo archive and found historical photos of snow in the capital, which have not yet been revealed



. The snow in Jerusalem is a good opportunity to remember Jerusalem of yesteryear, "says Efrat Sinai, director of the JNF's photo archive.

"In these moving pictures from the thirties to sixties of the last century, you can see the familiar sites of the capital covered in white. You can feel from the pictures the great joy of the residents of the city about the event."
